In case of memorized critical faults, the fault light of the vehicle may turn on, limit itself or even your vehicle may not start. In such errors, you can erase the errors with the DTC Eraser, which you can use by the OBD-II socket, and go to the nearest service.
DTC Eraser can be used in both passenger cars and heavy vehicles.
After connecting to the OBD-II socket, it performs an automatic system scan, detects control units and starts deleting error codes.
This process takes about 2 minutes and can be followed by status leds.

Control units used in vehicles control and report the operation of the systems. It produces fault codes according to the faults that occur.
These codes are basically divided into;
Active fault codes; are the failures that occur and continue in the system, interventions are required for their repair.
Passive fault codes; control units that were formed when the system was running and did not continue afterwards are stored faults.
Control units make decisions according to the status of faults, can stop the system, protect it and give a warning.
Such situations can sometimes be seen in passive faults that develop instantly and are recorded in memory.
Especially in case of SCR, Adblue, Nox system malfunctions, vehicles see a decrease in torque, you can plug the DTC eraser into the OBD socket to go to the nearest service, your vehicle will return to its old performance.
For the control and continuity of the system, a diagnostic device is connected and the status of the error codes is checked, and necessary actions are taken.
With DTC Eraser, you can erase passive error codes and restart the system. The steps to be done for this are;
- Turn off the vehicle ignition
- Plug the DTC eraser into the obd-II socket and turn on the ignition
- You can follow the operations from the status leds and buzzer on the DTC eraser
- After a system scan, the deletion process takes place.
- When the led lights up, you can remove the device.
- You can also leave the device on, it will repeat the processes periodically every 1 hour.
- Can be used in both passenger cars and heavy vehicles.
