CAT ET 3 Fault Detection and Diagnostics tool designed for CAT brand vehicles, thanks to the current version v2015 / A, provides a complete service of all heavy vehicles and work machine vehicles in CAT group vehicles.
With the CAT ET 3 tool, you can connect to all vehicles using CAT brand and CAT Engine, and perform all operations such as troubleshooting, parameter and programming.
CAT diagnostic tool works by means of a computer and necessary installations must be made on the computer.
After the computer is installed, you can provide a connection to the ECM of CAT motors (electronic control units)and perform diagnosis operations.
The Caterpillar diagnostic tool enables service technicians to reprogram Ecms, reconfigure control systemparameters, calibrate or diagnose what might be caused by a malfunction.
These testers allow service personnel to quickly and accurately analyze the system and save time fortroubleshooting.
The CAT ET3 diagnostic tool communicates with the CAT electronics system using ATA (J1708),J1939 or Caterpillar proprietary data link networks.
It provides communication between the engine controllers and the CAT ET3 service tool using various data links in the tool such as J1939 / 11, tool Net, CAT DataLink, and J1708 (ATA) Protocols.
As new versions are published, firmware updates can be made in the tool.
